Twinleaf Arakan, in collaboration with the Humanitarian and Development Coordination Office (HDCO), successfully delivered humanitarian assistance to flood-affected villages in the Taw Phyar Chaung area of Ponnagyun Township using donations generously contributed by compassionate individuals and communities.
During this mission, we reached remote and underserved villages where humanitarian assistance has remained limited. We had the opportunity to meet local families who are facing significant hardships and witnessed firsthand the challenges they endure in rebuilding their lives. As communities whose livelihoods depend heavily on natural resources, these rural villages are among the most vulnerable to natural disasters and require continued support and attention.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Humanitarian and Development Coordination Office (HDCO) of the Arakha Government for leading and coordinating this humanitarian mission, as well as to the local administrative authorities for their valuable support and cooperation throughout the journey.
Finally, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made this response possible through their generous contributions, including communities from the Mayu region(Rathedaung), Rakhine people both inside the country and abroad, and all ethnic brothers and sisters who stood in solidarity with the flood-affected families.
We sincerely wish for the swift recovery and rebuilding of all those affected by the floods.
