MRAT TWAN

Mrat Twan is the main initiator behind Twinleaf Arakan. Born and raised in Rathedaung, he founded the organization in 2025 to support rural farmers facing the harsh impacts of climate change.

“Every year, communities in Rakhine facing increasing climate-related challenges. Farmers _whose lives depend on nature_lack access to modern agricultural knowledge. Youth often become part of the problem due to a lack of awareness. Twinleaf Arakan was born to change that. We promote sustainable agriculture. Improve food security, and engage young people in protecting our environment.”

Phroe manages the heart of Twinleaf’s finances and operations. With a strong sense of purpose, she works to strengthen the link between people and environment.
